Knowing what to do beyond school years is often a difficult question for young people to answer, especially when potential opportunities remain unknown.
The top performing general further education college in Kent and South East London, North Kent College is right on our doorstep – and it’s a tremendous opportunity for our students to explore the wealth of possibilities. This specialises in vocational learning and is reported by OFSTED as having “outstanding features”. Many of our pupils have attended here.
Other local further education facilities which our pupils have been involved included Bromley College, which is part of LSEC, and Hadlow College. This centre specialises providing agricultural work to SEN learners.
More recently we have been engaging our pupils with the Scholarship Level 2 programme at Barking FC.
